400m winners in US Track
LaShawn Merritt #1 ranked 400m runner in the world took his second men's 400m title in a row in 44.50 seconds.
Merritt will be in Berlin with Gil Roberts of Texas Tech (44.93) and Kerron Clement,third in 45.14. World Outdoor champion Jeremy Wariner will join them at the World Outdoor Championships in Berlin.
Richards wins Visa Women's 400 Meters
Sanya Richards captured her fourth U.S. Outdoor title in 50.05 seconds the third-fastest time this year.
#1 in the world at 400 meters she heads to Berlin with Debbie Dunn from her runner-up finish in 50.79, and in 50.81. Natasha Hastings was fourth in 50.89.
